RÉSUME,

Jargon is considered as one of the created language. It is created and spread by a group of a given society. It is one of the social languages. The use of jargon is integrated through different cultures and is formes from different languages spoken by a given society. Therefore, based on the terms used by pupils, this work sought to study the pragmatic analysis of the jargon used by pupils at Rusgubi Communal Lycée. It analyses first the meaning change of the jargon words or expression used by pupils of the school understudy. The questionnaire is the only instrument used by the researcher to colled the data while carrying out this study. Considering the findings, the researcher found that the words used in the jargon at Rusubi Communal Lycée refer to pupils' everyday life such as the school domain, physique description domain, sexual relation domain, social domain, domain of habit, etc. Thus, the findings proved the existence of a jargon at Rushibi Communal Lycée and the reseacher discovered that the use of that jargon aims to hide pupils' secrets and realities since the meaning changes from the general meaning to the social meaning; In addition, he discovered that those words and expression are used whether to praise or encourage, to criticize, to warn or discourage, to give reason, to inform, as well as to comment. The researcher finds also that the jargon words or expression used at Rushubi Communal Lycée are created by using mechanism such as borrowing, coinage, comparison, compounding, reduplication, and affixation. The words and expressions that are used in pupils jargon are unintelligible to whoever is not a pupil at Rushubi Communal Lycée. There is a need for other researchers to do research in this field since words and expressions are created as the time progress.
