Résumé,

We realize that learners of English taught by part-time teachers are not so performant even thought their scores are higher. Thus, this study was conducted to investigate on the main goals of Part-Time Teachers, kinds of evaluations, the materials they use, they use, their use of time tables, their qualifications, the students' attitudes towards English, the teachers' behavior and attitude, Part-Time Teachers and their learners conditions in class, teachers and learners role in learning English.

For this purpose, the researcher used questionnaire and classroom observation. Thus, the data were collected and then analyzed and interpreted. After analysis of the data from investigation, the researcher found out that Part-Time Teaching has negative impact on the learners' English performance. In fact, Part-Time Teachers do not use teaching materials and methodology adequately ; they rather favor students' laziness and do not lead to their success and Part-Time Teachers' main goal is their wages after work.
To find a solution to these difficulties, the researcher addressed some recommendations to various partners who are concerned with the teaching of English in Secondary Schools.
