RÉSUME,

This study aims at finding some factors affecting the teaching of English language speaking skill at English Language Center and International Language Center. It was motivated by the fact even if learners study English, they may speak it fluently or not.

In order to find factors affecting the teaching of English Language speaking skill, this work had to answer three research questions about time allocated to the speaking skill, materials used to teachlearners and the way that language is taught. A sample of fourteen learners and six teachers was selected from two centers. The classroom observation, learners' interview and questionnaire were used to collect the data.

These data were collected, analyzed and result were interpreted. Result revealed that learners of those two centers have sufficient time to pratice speaking skill even though the place of other skills is not neglected, the hindrances that affect effective teaching process for learners are that; some of them are imptient and do not pratice speaking because of shyness or fear and others miss the adequate environment which would give them opportunity to use the learnt language; materials used fit learner's needs and the way that language is organized meets the learners' needs.

Recommendations were made to different people especially the representatives of English Language Centers, teachers, learners and govenment in order to improce the communicative skills
