RESUME,

The present work was initiated in order to point out strategies to develop the English language in Burundian business persons because we noticed that the latter (Burundian businness persons) need some knowledge in English in order to communicate effectively while or when they are engaged in their business affairs.In fact,there is a low level of English in Burundian business persons due to different factors,and thus ,this a affects negatively their profession.So,in order to find the solutions to this problem,some research questions and hypotheses were formulated.To verify the questions and hypotheses formulated,the researcher used both learners and teachers' questionnaire and classroom observation to collect the data.After analising the data ,it was found out that Burundian business persons are nawadays more and more interested in English,but appropriate strategies are not well used to develop the English language in these people.Also,it was concluded that necessary teaching materials and aids are not (for some English language teaching centers )available and not well used to facilitate the development of the English language in Burundian business persons.Finally,it was found out that the promotion of English business persons.
