RESUME,

Throughout this work, we analyse how man struggles or suffers on this world full of complexity but it is from this complexity that he manages to find out the solution of the problem in order to handle the situation. In fact, in writing Othello, Shakespeare does not refer to anything other than man. In addition, since he writes stories, comedies as well as tragedies, he focuses on the central creature of mankind, not on trees or animals. In short, man plays an important role in Shakespeare's plays. It is concerned with themes of racism and jealousy and these are the major themes of the play. We see how black people are ill-treated in the white environment without paying attention to their stature in the society and how people may suffer because of jealousy from other's villainy without escaping other people's own nature. Here, Othello encounters the bad fortune because of lago's villainy and his own nature. Iago puts Othello in the trap because of jealousy and after, Othello will murder Desdemona, not because she was guilty but because he wants to accomplish his plan. othello, after killing Desdemona unjustly, reallises afterwards that iti is the unjust murder. He understands that it is because of Iago's jealousy that he strangles his beautiful wife and decides to kill himself in order to keep his honour. If he does not kill himself it will be chaos to him because blacks are taken as killers, pagans, and rapists by white people. So, he will be dammed of murderee as traditional tragedy suggests it but, because of his fate, he tries to handle the bad situation so as to keep honour what makes him be taken as a tragic hero after assuming responsibility for what happened.
