RESUME,

This study aims at investigating what kind of negative language transfer committed by congolese learners due the acquired languages in English written production .It is structured around three hypotheses that are :acquired languages impact learners from writing good English,learners make negative transfer in their composition,native languiges impact learners from writing good English,learners make negative transfer in their composition,native laguages affect learners make negative transfer in their composition,native languages affect learners of ESERC Musasa.The research area is one of congolese refugee camp that is Musasa camp and the population sample consists of fifty learners and four teachers'and learners' questionnaire as well as learners' written text.After the analysis,it was discoveres that french interfect negatively to a large extent and some native languages such as Kinyamurenge language.This had negative impact on their writing skill.Based on the findings of the work,the research puts some recommendations to the UNHCR,JRS,congolese governement,tearchers and learners.He also made suggestions for further researches.
