RESUME,

The aim of this study is to investigate the importance of the English language in the Medical Personnel;if they need English language in their everyday activities.Since English languige is speading at a high speed and is used in many countries as an official language,this has been the motivation to the shoosing of the topic.In fact,the English language has become an international language very spoken in all sectors of life,Medecine included.
Actually,seeing the rising importance of the English language in terms of communication,medical personnel members need to be aware of that and try to do their best so that they can fit in this word where the neccessity of the English language is undeniable.
When the research was conducted,it was conducted,it was based on two main research questions.The first one asked whether language is necessary to Burundi medical personnel and the second was about how the English language can be promoted among medical personnel members.As a result from the study,it was been noticed that the English language is very important,and that it is needed in medical domain and in all services.The proof is that some of the medical personnel members had already began to learn it through English language centres or througj English clubs.
Therefore,the neccessity of English among medical personnel members was highlighted for the fact that medical personnel members work in different services where they meet and serve peaple speaking different languages including English.
