RESUME,
The aim of this work was to investigate how expressions of best wishes related to Greetings and Blessings are used according to participants in conversation. In fact , much emphais was put on the intention of the hearer. After presenting and analyzing our data, the finding that we came up with proved that the intention of the speaker uttering a word of greeting is to express a compliment, respect and to wish to best to his fellow. Moreover, when the speaker utters a word os blessing especially towards a woman who has given birth he has an intention of congratulating, of praising, blessing in wishing the best to the person who has given birth. Finally, we found out that a word of Greetings and Blessings has a positive effect on the hearer.
