This study entiled "EVALUATION OF THE ENGLISH PROGRAM USED IN TECHNICAL SCHOOLS : A CASE STUDY OF SOME SELECTED SCHOOLS IN GITEGA URBAN ZONE" aims at establishing the teachers and students' perception of such a program. In fact,it is seen that the implementation of the English language in technical schools is quasi difficult and this because of the lack of consistent and adapted English program which fits technical students' needs.
However,English program of Art sectin is the one which is proposed to those technical sections.

In carrying out this research, some procedures were used:data were collected on the basis of classroom observations which were made in 2nd level classes of different sections where this study was conducted.Besides, teachers'and student' questionnaires were given to English teachers and students of 2nd level A2.The sample method used is the simple random sampling one.

At the end of the research, the results reveal the following main problems:English technical schools'program is not well implemented,it does not fit the students' needs and also it does not take into account the existing materials.Consequently,it hampers not only the student' achievement in English, but also the teachers' succeful implementation of it.
