ABSTRACT,
This work examines the English communication challenges faced by either Burundian English native speakers in Burundi as a result of culture.It explores the attitudes of both sides in English communication breakdowns.Besides,this work proposes tangible solutions for an effective English communication.The latter is becoming a major and growing concern in multicultural environments such as workplaces,churches,market places,business areas,etc.As for this study,It aims at raising the English language users awareness in general and Burundian and native speakers of English in particular that such English miscommunications are likely to happen in our daily interactions.This work also provides the attitudes that should be adopted for a smooth English communication.
