RESUME,

This work entitled "Richard wright's native son as a political tract" is written with the aim of examining this work as a political text.Richard wright is among African-America writers who bring out the political and racial issues.Richard wright's native son is clear presentation of the political reality of colored people.Richard Wright is depicting the discrimination between two races such as blacks and whites.This work is built on the hypothetical contention that the author sees racism as a product of capitalism in the novel and endorses communism as an alternative.Richard wright tackles the exploitation of blacks by whites which has the consequences to the politics because blacks were denied to vote.Marxism as a literary approach that helps to situate this study in the character's state of mind.
