RESUME?
The aim of this study is to analyze the power of the woman's body through Cyprian Ekwensi's Jagua Nana.It investigates how the protagonist tries to negotiate her place and power through her body.The discussion is anchored on the assumption that the protagonist in cyprian Ekwensi's Jagua Nana uses here body to earn a living admits many social and economic challenges she encounters.To bring out the meanings of the text,this researcher has applied the Radical Feminist Approach.Among other tenets ,this approach characterizing most modern cities in Africa,the should adopt her own way of struggling which can enable her to face social and economic preoccupations without much worry.
