Résumé,

This study examines the theme of "War and Disillussionment" in Ken Saro-wiwa's Sozaboy. Our work examined some of the conceptions of war by different categories of the population, consequences and the disillusionment at the end of the crisis. It depicts war and the hope that those who take part in the fighting associate to it. In this way, the work focuses on the assumption that the war in Ken Saro-Wiwa's Sozaboy breeds enormous consequences that lead to disillusionment at the end of it. It further contends that once has endured its consequences, he becomes conscious of the that war is not always a solution to problems. Written agains the background of the Psychoanalytic theory and New Historicism, this study concludes that war is not the best option to solving conflicts.
