Résumé,

The present work deals with the words and expressions on the ZEGE Campus. It analyses linguistic mechanisms used by students to form new words and expressions in their jargon. The research questions are :

1. Do students on the ZEGE Campus have a jargon through which they communicate ?

2. Is there any way to uncover whose way of living by analyzing the jargon on the ZEGE Campus ?

3. Do words and expressions used by students on the ZEGE Campus keep their first meaning or denotation ?

4. Why do students on the ZEGE Campus use jargon ?

The observation, the questionnaire and the interview are the major instruments that have been used to collect data. The major findings proved the existence of a jargon on the ZEGE Campus ; the meaning is connotational rather than denotational. There is a need for other researchers to do research in this field since words and expressions are created as the time foes on.
