Résumé,

This study is about the problems encountered in the Teaching Learning of the Reading Skill : The case of Fourth Forms in Vyanda Communal Secondary Schools.
The study reveals the importance of teaching and learning the English language especially the reading skill and the problems encountered. It is restricted to secondary communal schools. The study reveals that may teachers and students have problems in teaching and learning the reading skill.

The aim of teaching the English language since primary school in our country, the increasing of the number of hour allotted to the English course in secondary schools, teachers and learners
should gain the ability and fluency in reading if materials are available. However, the study proves the opposite of this aim. Il also reveals that in ordrer to facilitate teachers and pupils in English reading, English books, dictionaries didactic materials, enough time are necessary for improving the reading skill.
