This study is focused on the impact of Concern Worldwide's training seminary on primary schools teachers of English. This study aims to assess the relevance and effectiveness of training seminairs offered by Concern Worldwide in teachers' performance in classroom situations and on pupils' achievement in the English language. Respondents were primary school teachers of English and headmanters in the school sampled as well as the staff of Concern Worldwide. The teachers' performance in classroom situations and pupils achievement in the English language was assessed on the basis of a written questionnaires. After a careful analysis and interpretation of the data from the classroom observation and written questionnaire, results revealed that there is no significant difference in academic performance among pupils before and after training seminary that were organised by Concern Worldwide. Thus, there is a need bor strategies to improve the teaching and learning of English in primary schools to enhance achievement by the pupils. Therefore, training seminars should be renewed and revised to meet the needs and wants of the pupils as well as teachers.
