This work sets to investigate on the sociolect spoken in some Kayanza secondary boarding schools and aims at showing to what extent both Gatara and Musema Lycée students communicate through a sociolect and the communicative importance of the sociolect to its users.

In dealing with this work, some research questions and research hypotheses are necessary. This work comprises five chapters.

The first chapter intends to show that language is an important tool of communication. It is used then for a variety of purposes and people use it to express their needs, feelings and emotions.

The second chapter shads lights on some views given by scholars in the area of sociolinguistics within the study was carried out.

The third chapter aims at showing how the study has been conducted. It describeds the area of research, selction criteria, data collection procedures and data analysis.

The forth chapter shows the morphological analysis of the sociolect and the interpretation of words and expressions under their domains of use in order to show their relationship.

The fifth chapter aims at the drawing conclusion and formulating recomandations. In nustshell the main task was to show to what extent both Gatara and Musema pupils communicate through the sociolect and the communicative importance of it to its users.
