This work examed racial injustice during the apartheid period in south Africa as reflected in Peter Abrahams' Mine Boy. We tried to analyse the unfair treatment inflicted on the blacks due to their skin colour. We therefore examined the various cases of racial injustice perpetrated by the whites on the blacks during that era. In view of this, the work was based on the hypothesis that the injustice committed on blacks in south Africa obliged them to develop various methods of resistance. In this work, new Historicism approach was used. This approach was used because, according to new historicists, works of literature both influence and are influenced by historical reality. The work concluded that injustice will never be and has never been remedy to a problem.
