  <abstract>The present work deals with the motivation of civil servants in learning English Language: Case of study Conducted in Some English Centers or Clubs in Bujumbura City.
This study analyses the extent to what civik servants are more motivating in English and finds out the factors which are in the root.
The study was conducted in some English clubs or centers in Bujumbura city.

It based on three research questions.The first research question investigates the extent to how English is important to Burundian civil servants.The second tesearch question deals with the extent to how English is needed for burundian civil servants career advancement. The third research question examines if English is a requirement for job opportunity.The study was carried out through questionnaire distribued to the learners of the clubs or centers understudied.

After analysis of the data,it was discovered that burundian civil servants are eager to learn more and more English language. Thus,based on the findings from the work,the purpose of promoting English language for burundian civil servants.</abstract>
