It aims at showing the relationship between the teachers'qualification and the performance of students. The hypotheses guided this work are: A qualification of english teachers impacts the performance of learners in that language;there is a relationship between teachers' qualification in english and the performance of students at basic school; qualifications of teachers contributes to the language to the quality of students'learning in English language at basic school. Two types of instruments were used during the data collection: Teachers' and sisters' questionnaires,clasroom observation.This work on The impact of english teachers' qualification on students' performance in english language skills at basic school is made up of five main chapters:General introduction,litérature review,methodology,Data presentation,Analysis and finding,the last one is General conclusions and recommandations. The findings from this work have shown also that apart from the qualification of teachers,there are other factors that contribute to the poor performance of Engish language as shown on students'questionnaire. Those factors are: Lack of teaching/learning materials; lack of enough time during English lesson,lack of follow up by parents;lack of financial means,lack of motivation due to the present situation in which our country is so far as the unemployment is concerned.At the end of our research,we realized that the quality of teaching depends upon the teachers'qualification.In few words,our three hypotheses were confirmed. 72BI-BuBUaAnglais (langue) : EnseignantxQualification 72BI-BuBUaAnglais (langue).
