This work has the goal of displaying and making an analysis of the jargon used by students at Lycée Tora. This research is made of four main parts.

The first is the general introduction which shows how the topic is and indicates the problem and the main targets of the conduct of the research.

The second is literature review which is the contribution of other researchers in sociolinguistic, it is this part that integrates this research in the sociolinguistic field.

The third chapter is methodology which involves the procedures and techniques that are used in data collection.

The fourth chapter is data presentation, analysis and findinds. This part shows words and expressions used in the Jargon, their origin and the processes of their creation. Words used in student's jargo at Lycée Tora are derived from Kirundi, French, English and Swahili and they are used for many purposes because words and expressions undergo a semantic change when they are used.
