Data about the teaching and learning of english in medical schools were collected, analyzed, and presented in order to find answers to the research questions formulated at the beginning of the work, and then appropriate recommendations were drawn. After a deep analysis of teachers' and students' answers to questions stated in the questionnaires, it was discovered that the teaching and learning of english is not given great importance in Burundimedical secondary schools. The researcher recommended that an appropriate program be set up in order to fit the needs of its learners.
